Our Story.
In 2013 Altanopoulos Family started its journey to produce high-quality and authentic Greek honey from their routes, the pristine nature of Orini Nafpaktia.
Our passion for nature, the bee, and the creation of an exceptional product from the land of Greece inspire us every day.
We aim to produce pure honey of high nutritional value while developing our expertise and deliver a first-choice product for the Greek and Meditteranean nutrition and cuisine.
Our philosophy is based on continuous education, technological development and ethical environmental production. We are educated and informed about the life of the bee and the characteristics of Greek nature. We use new technologies to be constantly next to the life cycle of the bee. We exchange views and apply excellent and innovative practices. We invest in modern equipment and we test our products in special laboratories. We respect our nature and the value of the bee in the ecosystem.
Our Products.
Arbutus Honey
Arbutus honey is of unique origin and limited production. Wonderful delicate crystalline texture, reddish colour, soft and bittersweet taste with an intense aroma. It is collected in the autumn months, between October and January. It is rich in trace elements and vitamins and is one of the best options for toning the body.
Oak Honey
Oak honey is a rare collection, dark brown and black in colour and woody without much sweetness. It is collected during the summer months in the mountain oak and chestnut forests of the area. It is rich in antioxidant properties and contains large amounts of potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron and sodium.
